Drain Cleaning

Drain cleaning, by nature, can be a very challenging experience, but some jobs are much easier than others. We have three different sized machines for all different applications and jobs.

The largest, a Spartan 2001 machine, is used primarily for root removal and longer runs of pipe. With 150 of cable, we are easily able to reach most problems with this machine. If not, cable can be added to reach it.

The next size down is the Spartan 300, used for short runs of pipe, not having as much torque as the 2001, this machine is used for soft plugs and smaller pipe. This machine has 75 feet of cable that can handle some minor roots and soft plugs, this is the machine we carry on the pump trucks for routine service work.

For sink, shower, and washer drains we have two Spartan 100 machines with two different sizes of cable. The larger cable is used for plastic pipe and and larger drains. The smaller one is used for old galvanized pipe and for getting through traps in floor drains and such. Both of these cables have a drop head on them which makes them able to more easily turn corners rather than the larger, stiffer cables.

Another facet of drain cleaning come with the power of water. We have three sizes of jetters too. The smallest is an electric jetter which can easily be toted indoors and does not take up much room. The next one is a gas jetter which can be used for larger pipe but does not have the power of our Spartan 758 tow-behind jetter. This goliath carries its own water, with 300 gallons, has a reach of 500 feet, with a maximum of 4000 PSI.
